Encore is
A place that gathers the people’s music — the songs whole generations sang together — and shows where their singers are now. It starts with Korean trot and its closest sibling, Japanese enka, then reaches across to American country — music born from the same heart: everyday life, told plainly, sung for everyone. Stages, TV, new songs and the latest news, all in one place. A small project by Bluetron, made for the voices our parents loved.
Data principles
- Based on facts and public reporting; opinion is confined to curator comments.
- No audio or video is hosted here. Links go out to external sites (YouTube, etc.) only.
- Singer photos are Wikipedia (Wikimedia) article thumbnails, with the article linked in each profile. Singers without a photo get an initial avatar.
- News and activity calls (Rising · Steady · Quiet) are hand-curated for now. Corrections and requests: contact@bluetronai.com
Tiers
- Star — the singers on stage right now, loved and active (Lim Young-woong, Song Ga-in, Luke Combs …).
- Rookie — rising voices just breaking through.
- Legend — names that defined an era: Na Hoon-a and Ju Hyun-mi for trot, Misora Hibari for enka, Johnny Cash for country.
